Online Only Coins & Jewelry
Ends May 23, 2018
Join us for over 700 lots of coins and jewelry from dozens of Pennsylvania estates and collections.
Online Only Auctions at Pook & Pook are live auctions, not timed auctions. They run just like a regular salesroom auction with the lots being sold one at a time in lot number order. The only difference is that there are no bidders in the salesroom or on the phones. All bidding, both live and absentee, is taking place online through online bidding platforms. You can leave absentee bids up until a few minutes before an item sells. You can also bid live when the item crosses the auction block. Once the item is live, outbid notices cease. When the bidding slows down, a fair warning is given and a five second countdown begins. If nobody clicks bid during that five second countdown, the clerk then clicks ‘sold’. If someone does click bid, the countdown clock resets itself to five seconds and the countdown begins again. For the Online Only Auctions, we sell approximately 150 lots per hour. If you have any additional questions about how our Online Only Auctions work, please call (610) 269-4040 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The buyer’s premium for this auction is 25%. NEW BUYERS MUST PAY WITH CASH, BANK CHECK, MONEY ORDER, OR BANK WIRE TRANSFER (NO CREDIT CARDS). IF NEW BUYERS ARE PAYING WITH A PERSONAL CHECK, ITEMS WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL THE CHECK HAS CLEARED. Coins, investment (numismatic coins and legal tender), bullion, and investment metal are not taxable. Paper money, which is not legal tender in U.S.A., is taxable on the full purchase price. Paper money, which is legal tender in U.S.A., is taxable on the amount in excess of face value.
