Early Victorian parlor game, with a painted wood box, having an ornate painted cast iron top with instructions on underside, the center hinged piece lifts to reveal eight paper reels, with sentence fragments which in combination with wording in cast portion, above create amusing sentences very much like our modern game "Mad Libs", 15 1/2" x 5 1/2".
