Game of Billy Possum, ca. 1909, Billy possum was the name given to the toy possum created around the time of President William Howard Taft's much publicized "Possum Feast", the makers' were hopeful that the new toy would be popular like the Teddy bear was for Roosevelt as president, hence the amusing graphics of the young girl playing with her new toy as the rejected Teddy sits on the floor with tears falling from it's eyes, unknown maker, 14 1/2" x 8 1/2".
