Important Historical blue Staffordshire Arms of Pennsylvania platter, 19th c., impressed T Mayer, 16" l., 21" w. Widely considered the most desirable piece to collectors, the present platter was sold at Pook & Pook; Property of a Pennsylvania Educational Institution January 15, 2010 lot 173 for a record setting $30,420. Provenance: The Transferware Collection of Ben and Susan Ventresca, West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Condition:

Very good with a few small knife marks.
