Important Philadelphia pewter coffeepot, attributed to William Will, ca. 1775, with a scrolled treen handle, beaded bands, and gooseneck spout, the body with engraved monogramMC, 15 3/4" h. An identical form is illustrated in LaughlinPewter in America, Its Makers & Their Marks, vol. I, fig. 187 and was sold at Northeast Auctions, August 1, 2008, Lot 1309.
