Jazz Age U. S. Poker Chips salesman sample catalog, ca. 1923, issued by the U. S. Playing Card Co., with ninety-three clay poker chips of different sizes, colors, and decoration, carefully mounted to gray card stock, with printed and typed labels detailing the sizes and types of chips, each page riveted to black cloth hinges, with leaves of corrugated cardboard acting as protective barriers, also mounted to cloth hinges. This sample catalog includes multi-colored samples of the Superior poker chips line, showing blanks to be engraved; Paranoid Plain in blue, yellow, coral, burgundy, and white; Paranoid Inlaid featuring double star chips, American Eagle, fleur-de-lis, clover, swastika, stylized letters, and numbers; and finally Anchor Poker Chips, plain and embossed, in the very rare 7/8" and 1 1/4" sizes, as well the more typical 1 1/2". A complete catalog in original post-binder. 11" x 8 1/2".

Condition:Very good condition, minor handling marks to covers, corners gently rubbed, minor edge wear to a few pages, and chips very clean throughout.
