New York four-gallon stoneware churn, ca. 1850, impressed F. Stetzenmeyer & Co. Rochester N.Y., with a large cobalt bird perched atop a flower, 18" h. Provenance: Bruce and Vicki Waasdorp, Decorated Stoneware Auction, October 1994, Lot 127.

Condition:Hairline to lid. Glaze burn to cobalt. Hairline backside from rim to base.
