Pennsylvania redware seated spaniel, late 19th c., attributed to John Bell Pottery, clutching a basket of fruit in its mouth, 4 3/4" h. For a similar example see Ralph Esmerian, American Radiance, page 155, fig. 120.

Condition:

One front leg repaired. Scattered small glaze flakes.
