Stoneware crock, 19th c. cobalt mule

Five-gallon stoneware crock, 19th c., probably West Troy, New York, with cobalt mule decoration, 12 1/4" h. Provenance: Crocker Farm, March 24, 2018, lot 90. A related example was sold at Crocker Farm, July 18, 2015, lot 1, featuring an elephant with similar thick cobalt brush strokes.

Condition:Very good condition with a small flake to one handle.
