Deirdre Pook Magarelli

Deirdre Pook Magarelli, President of Pook & Pook, Inc., was born into the antique and auction business. Deirdre graduated with honors from Beloit College with a B.S. in Biology. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she attended graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with honors with both an M.A. and an M.S. After a career in research at the University of Pennsylvania and an Environmental firm in Maryland, she joined the family business full time in 2005. At Pook & Pook, she manages the office, designs the catalogs and advertisements, handles requests for condition reports and additional photographs, assists with accounting, and is responsible for social media posts and updates to the website. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and children.
